Beth: who are you and what do you do?

Katymai: my name is Katymai and I am a British beauty and fashion and lifestyle blogger.

Beth: ok and what are your blog plans for the future ?

Katymai: we'll I don't have many plans however I do I that I'm going to do blogmas / 12 days of blogging from the 12th to the 24th of August.

Beth : how many page views does your blog currently have ?

Katymai: 1266 which I think is a great amount.

Beth : so how long have you had your blog ?

Katymai: I started my blog on 1st of November 2013 so I have had it nearly a year now.

Beth : what your favourite post you have written and why ?

Katymai: it would have to either my bath haul/post or my Paris post because they are both quite long
and have turned out to be quite popular with my viewers.

Beth: and finally what has been your favourite day of August bloggin' on bethbsbeauty ?

Katymai : I really think day 11 the modern homeware ideas because I really like all of the ideas and they gave me some great ideas for if I ever wanted to decorate my room modern.

August bloggin' : day 29 : August favourites part 2

Hey guys Beth b here and I have not been uploading because I have run out of ideas it is incredibly difficult to think of an entire blog post every day. So for the last few days of august blogging I am doing what I can to keep posting. On the last day I have a great and spectacular end to August bloggin' which is already written and ready so look out for that on Sunday. So anyway today is my august favourites part 2. Enjoy.

To start off I'm doing gaming.

Recently I have started using my wii which I haven't done for years so these are my favourite wii games this month.

1) wii fit

I love this game because I'm quite a lazy person but it's still important to be active so I think being in my living room doing exercise is so much easier than going outside for a jog or going to the gym. This game is quite old I remembering getting it for Christmas long ago and it say my profile is 1999 days old so I have had it for a while. My favourite game on it are boxing jogging hula hoop tight rope and steps. ( I'm not even botching with pictures because they won't work)

2) mario kart

This game I absolutely loved when I was younger and I rediscovered it when I had friends stay over who wanted to play it. I love this game it really fun and competitive however competitive games sometime bring out the worst in people. So just a warning if your compatible like me try to keep calm when it all goes wrong a few inches from the finish line.

3) just dance 4
I bought this game not that long ago and I love it it's a game which I only play when I have friends
over, the basics if the game are you dance copying the person one the screen the only problem is whilst they look really cool you defiantly won't.

Next is hair products.

1) super drug raspberry and macadamia nut shampoo and conditioner .

I bought these and absolutely fell in love with them the make you hair soft mine free and subtlety fruit scented. I did a full review earlier in the year if you want to see that just click the link below.

2) herbal Essenes ignite my colour dry shampoo.

I gave been loving this recently just to keep your hair from looking greasy and limp if you don't have enough time to wash it. It is beautifully rise scented and really easy to put in just spray it on to the roots of your hair massage it in and brush it out.

3) vo5 ultimate hold hairspray.

This my favourite hairspray I buy it every time in need more. It keeps your style in place all day and you don't have to wash it out ( even though if you want it fully fully out than that migt be slightly more effective) you simply brush it through and it's 96% ish out of your hair.

August bloggin' : day 24 : looking back

Hey guys we are nearing the end of august blogging and I'm running out of ideas. But then I realised today is the 6 month anniversary of my blog so today's post is looking back on the best of Beth bs beauty!!!! Enjoy !

This is my most popular post on this blog and my picture is 5th if you type in Rimmel Asia 77. Also that picture ( above ) is possibly the best picture I've ever taken. Also it is one of my earlier posts so it's not as detailed but it just proves how far this blog has come.

2) August bloggin' : day 2 : the view from my window.

This also made it into the favourites because I like how it shows you what I see everyday. Secondly I love photography and this was a great chance to take photos of the most beautiful parts of the view. It may look like I live in the countryside but I actually like in the suburbs it's just the city part isn't quite as pretty. )the phot above is my favourite from the post !!

August bloggin' : day 23 : m&m collection !!!!

Hey guys today I'm going to show you a recent obsession of mine m&m since have two dispensers and one other thing I am hoping to get more soon but for now here it is. ( as you may have seen one was featured in yesterday's post august favourites.

1. Aeroplane dispenser




This is my favourite thing you spin he propeller and it pour about 10-20 m&ms out onto one of the wings of the plane it's great for party's movie nights or just anytime you fancy m&ms ( in this dispenser you can put in any sweet that roughly the size of an m&m like a smarties or dolly mixture. )

The second thing that is great about this dispenser is it's really great as a decoration mine sits on my desk per inanely even though it's rarely got any sweets in.

2. Orange m&m dispenser



Thus was the first piece of m&m merchandise I bought it was £6 on the ferry to Calais you put m&ms in its head push it's hand and one pops out. This one is not quite as good because it's one at a time slits a lot more effort but I still like it because it's sweet. And exactly half the price of the other one also the orange m&m is my favourite.

3. M&m purse.





I bought this from m&m world in London for I think £8 because m&m world is not cheap also on that trio I got a pick and mix bag of m&m in every colour imaginable but obviously they have since been eaten. It's really soft and I don't really use I prefer to use a wallet style purse so I can hold cards and stuff but I mainly got this because it looked cute.

August bloggin' : day 22 : August favourites

Hey guys I'm back from a wifi less holiday and back to daily posts . Today I'm doing quite a long posts of my favourites. This month I have not been in school so I have been doing a lot more so let's get started.

1. TV faves.

Modern family!!!


One of the best things about this show is the wide range of personalities in the characters so everybody can relate to one of them. Also it is so funny. If you are British it is one sky 1 at 8 on a weekday or you can buy the box set . If you live in America it's is on abc not sure when and everywhere else I have no idea. But I would recommend this highly because it's just so hilarious.

My second TV is wife swap.
 This show is so amazing they get two completely opposite families
and as you can probably guess they swap wives I have no idea why but I just love it . It is regularly on dmax in the uk and I don't know about anywhere else . It sounds mean to the people on the show but I think the show is so hilarious because everyone on it is so extreme. So watch that as well.

The third and finally TV I have loved this month is ..... Great British bake off




This show many people might think is for people in their 90s but it's not it may not be cool but it's is amazing. The hosts are mel and sue who are so funny together and the judges are Mary berry and Paul Hollywood. This is the perfect combination of people and I think this should be what every cooking show is like. The basics of the show is that there are twelve contestant and gradually every week they leave one by one until you get to the final. One of the best parts of this show is the mistakes like the cakes that get dropped and salt instead of sugar it's just amazing how often they drop the trays of stuff and then still serve the food after using icing to cover it. That is only airs in the uk on a Tuesday at 8 on BBC 1.


Next make up 

This month I have been loving the mua undressed me too palette.



I am a huge fan if mua because their products are such amazing quality for such low prices this high pigmented 12 colour palette was only £4 that is a bargain. It is a mixture of shimmer and matte 
shades in neutral colours. I love how the whole palette is wear able with no bright blue or shocking green that you don't want. Finally the variety of colours means you can do so many eye looks its 
unreal.

Second make up I have been loving is bourjois bronzing powder in shade 52.



This bronzer is natural and just adds a hint of definition to your face rather than making you look like 
you just got slapped by an oompa loompa. Also since it is summer it's give you the look of having 
tanned a little even if that doesn't happen. The third reason why i love it is because inside it looks 
like a bar of chocolate and also smells spicy and amazing . I think it is around £6.99 from boots and 
super drug.


Finally for make up is the baby skin primer

Finally are a few random favourites.

The first really is random but I really do love it it's is .....
My m&m aeroplane dispenser.





Firstly it is huge the picture make sit look small but it's not by a long shot. Believe it or have I have used this around 9 times since I bought it a month ago in my trip to Paris . I bought it on the ferry back for £11.99. I thought this was amazing value. Since I got it in Paris it's really hard to find anywhere else but if you are desperate for one they are online but for nearly four times the price £40. Basically what you do with this is you lift up the yellow m&m on front to uncover a hole you then put in the m&ms. To get them back out you spin the propeller and they come out on the wing.

Next random favourite is my camera I use to take photos for this blog ( I forgot to charge it so today's photos were taken with my iPad ) it is the cannon ixus 132 hd.



This camera produces high quality phones and has 8x optical zoom. Also it looks really cool. Thirdly it's light weight and small so you can just stick it in your pocket and go. Finally in takes really good videos with great sound. (£99.99)

Final thing I have loved this month is  my Disney land Paris jumper



I bought this in Disney land in late June not expecting to wear it until next winter but I have had what can only be described as a very British summer full of wind rain and coldness. So I dug this out of my wardrobe it's great for when you just want to laze around the house  it's really comfortable and soft and the faded design on the front really describes my trip to Paris so it's very sentimental. It's quite big because I had to get it in medium when ideally I would have wanted extra small but it doesn't really matter . It was 39.99 exclusively from Disney land Paris.

August bloggin' : day 16 : haul part 1 of 3

hey guys beth b here and today is a long post divided into three. so far we are over half way through and i hope you have liked it so far. so for part one im doing the make up section of this haul.

 

this is the smallest section of the haul so you will have to be patient to see the whole thing.

so i only got two things but both of those i have tried and loved i dont recommend things i dont really love on this blog so these are amazing.

 

the first is a mascara the maxfactor false lash effect. this was acctually recommended by my family so i bought it for i think 10.99 from boots. It look amazing mkes your lashes look long and thick but still natural. i love most of max factors products and thi one has been re-bought by me time after time. Also the packaging is gorgeous and really looks good with how i display my make-up  which is always a plus.

secondly and finally for today is the maybelline baby skin primer i dont regularly use primer but since buying this i use it a lot more. when your are wearing the baby skin your skin feel so soft and looks nearly flawless so if your not going anywhere special just put it on and my skin looks radiant and cover blemishes. this is 7.99 from boots .

august bloggin' : day 15 :my summer wishlist.

hey guys beth b here and today is what i want this summer so enjoy.

1. nutella and go.











.if you dont know what these are they are basically exactly like kp choc dips which i had when i was younger and im not quite sure what hapened to them but hopefully nutella and go will be as good. these have been around for quite a while in places live america but not in the uk and they are coming to england soon. Even though thy aren't currently in uk shops i tried one in disney land they are amazing and im waiting for them.

2. benefit they're real mascara

this mascara is recommended by a lot of people so i really want to try it because my current mascara is nearly finished. however i would wear this when going out rather thn everyday for everyday i use a brown mascara for a more natural effect.

3.real techniques core collection.

i have heard amazing thins about real techniques and the core collection is full of the essential brushes that i would use most often so i hope t some point to bu some.

thats it for my summer wishlist its short but i had to think of everthing i had wanted this month which to be honest was not a lot i hope you liked it and it gave you a few ideas.

August bloggin' : day 14 : whats on my window sill

hey guys beth b here and as you know from previous posts i am the kind of person who loves to decorate my room. so today i am showing you whats on my window sill to give you ideas of the little things that make a room. so lets get started.

 (from left to right)

. two pyramids one from spain and one from paris they both have pictures in (the kind no one knows how they are in there).

.a snow globe from rome it looks like a scotter and i think it is really cute.

.a black eiffel tower (it was orginally bronze but i hated the colour so i painted it)

. then a leaning tower of pizza (i have had this for nearly ten years and got it from my first holiday broad).

next to that are two more new zealand snow globe the bigger one it amazing and the snow is amazing and is really tiny beads rather than glitter.

Everybody has these souvenirs and they really pretty. im sorry this post is very short and kind of boring but my next post has taken a lot of work so i just did more of a quick post today.

august bloggin' : day 13 : no7 beautiful skin cleanser.

hey guys beth b here and today i am going to be review the no7 beautiful skin cleanser.

i bought this product around a month ago and since i have been using t my skin has improved it feels softer and more hydrated. it is 9.50 from boots it's pretty good value considering how long one bottle lasts. it also doubles as a make up remover. finally i love it because you dont have to wask it off you can just wipe it off which is so much easier.

august bloggin' : day 12 : mua faves

hey guys beth b here sorry this is a day late i was extremely busy yesterday so the post that was mean to be today will be later on around 6 so lets get started. also this post is only two mua favourites the rest are being posted on the 21st.
so look out for the second half.

my favourites for the first half are mua cover and conceal and mua matte shadow - fudge.

 first the cover and conceal (below)

i love this product its 1.50 and i bought it while i was out to keep in my bag as a spare. but then i used it and realised dipsite the fact its quite shiny it makes your skin look flawless if put on some powder to control the shineso if your on a tight budget i would highly recommed going to mua at superdrug. (shade 1 fair)

the second and final thing for this half is the mua matte eyeshadow - fudge.(bottom half of the picture.)

 this is a shade that practically could be used as a pressed powder for someone with my skin tone its is really useful to have an eye shadow like this because you put on the eyes hadow and it helps all the other colours to blend in.

august bloggin' : day 11 : modern homeware idea

hey guys beth b here and since my mini vintage homeware post went down so well i decided to try again and do a mini modern/ world themed homeare thing i chose this because this is how i choose to decorate my room so enjoy.

1 a feature wall.

a feature wall makes a huge impact on any room in my room three wall are white with one black wall with a white wall sticker of the new york skyline the sticker was 22.99 from amazon.

2. wall decorations

i really love my world clock (left)  because it shows you not only the time but also the date.

also i have a matching memo board which i don't use but just looks great.

finally ( for this part i have a canva sof the eiffel tower i love the angle of the photo and i also like the black and white effect

3. final finishes.
 these are just the little thing like pillows trinkets photo frames. things like that so in the first picture is my pillow (i cant figure out how to get the picture the right way up) again its new york themed i love how its all monochrome except for the taxi.

secondly is my windowsill full of small things from everywhere i have gone i think together they look really cute they range from about the equivalet of about 1 pound to about the equivalent of about 10 pounds if you look closely you can see they are all from different countrys like new zealand  spain france and a lot of others. part of the reason i like these is because its nice to have a display of memories to look at and they are something most of us have so get your out and display them.
