august bloggin' : day 11 : modern homeware idea

hey guys beth b here and since my mini vintage homeware post went down so well i decided to try again and do a mini modern/ world themed homeare thing i chose this because this is how i choose to decorate my room so enjoy.

1 a feature wall.

a feature wall makes a huge impact on any room in my room three wall are white with one black wall with a white wall sticker of the new york skyline the sticker was 22.99 from amazon.

2. wall decorations
i really love my world clock (left)  because it shows you not only the time but also the date.

also i have a matching memo board which i don't use but just looks great.

finally ( for this part i have a canva sof the eiffel tower i love the angle of the photo and i also like the black and white effect
3. final finishes.
these are just the little thing like pillows trinkets photo frames. things like that so in the first picture is my pillow (i cant figure out how to get the picture the right way up) again its new york themed i love how its all monochrome except for the taxi.

secondly is my windowsill full of small things from everywhere i have gone i think together they look really cute they range from about the equivalet of about 1 pound to about the equivalent of about 10 pounds if you look closely you can see they are all from different countrys like new zealand  spain france and a lot of others. part of the reason i like these is because its nice to have a display of memories to look at and they are something most of us have so get your out and display them.

thanks for readin that quite long post.

a swatch book is a book full of swatches of anything really i made a nail polish swatch nook so you can flip through and find the colour you want.
its very useful if you have a lot of something to be able to go through it and choose with out hving to ge the items out y swatch nook was 23 pages long but if you have less have less pages if you have more add more.

i got the idea of a swatch book from insagram so follow pages like that for ideas like these.

August bloggin' : day 9 : river island daisy necklace

hey guys beth b here and recently i went to river island i could only really find one thing i wanted which was a daisy necklace there was two type one with a single daisy and one with around 8 daisys i got the single one and here it is.

i have been loving this necklathe daisy ce because it really makes an outfit i have worn it nearly everyday since i bought iti like the simplicity of it whiich is why i think it goes with so many things i am currently loving wearing it with a light denim shirt from new look ( 22.99).

i think it adds a touch of cuteness to the outfit and also a touch of spring / summer. it also goes well with plain tops. patterns dresses and just about anything else. so take a trip to river island and get this necklace for only 3 pounds you wont  regret it.

august bloggin' : day 8 : lush creamy candy bubble bar

hey guys beth b here and yesterday i went to bristol city centre and got a few things but today im going to tell you about the lush creamy candy bubble bar .

If you didnt already know a bubble bar is a bar which you crumble under a running tap to create bubbles.

This one smell like strawberry bonbons mixed with an old fashion sweet shop it is the best thing i have ever smelt. the obviously it looks beautiful with the cute lttle flower and pink colours.

thats before you even use it!
With only half a bar it makes so my bubbles and also your whole bathroom smells amazing. also its really easy to use you just break off the amount you want to use and crumble that under the tap which requires no effort since it is so crumbly. It cost 2 60 and that really good value. so go to lush because i loe just about everything in there.

thanks for reading.

August bloggin' : day 7 : stripey nail tutorial

hey guys beth b here and to day im going to teach you how to do stripey nails using two colours of nail polish and a roll of nail tape.

i used Barry M gelly nail polish (3.99 each)  and striping tape bought fron amazon at around 99p for 10.

once you have got your colours just apply your first nail polish nails like you regularly would. ( remember this will be the colour of the stripe)

after they have dried then put on the striping tape the colour doesn't matter.

next paint you full nails with you second colour.

again once those are dry just peel of the tape to reveal the perfect stripe

August Bloggin' : day 5 : maybelline superstay better skin foundation.

hey guys beth b here and welcome to august bloggin' day 5 today I'm going to review a foundation i recently bought.

I bought this after i saw the advert that said your skin will visbly improved in three weeks so i tested it and i have been using it for four week and my skin is a bit better but not amazingly but what i love about this foundation is the coverage it gives you so you face looks flawess whilst your wearing it.

It is a liquid foundation i have it in the lighest shade. 005 light beige.
However because i seem to have an ability to not tan i find its not the perfect match for my skinbut if it was the right colour it would be nearly perfect.

Another good thing is it has an spf of 20 so you dont get a burnt face. also it can stay on your face for about 7 hours without primer or 8 hours with primer. For 8.99 i thinks its pretty good.

August Bloggin' : day 4 : mini vintage homeware ideas

hey guys beth b here and today i'm going to show you four cute little home accessories  which can just add a sprinkle of vintage to you house so to start off with is.

A cute jewellery tree.

This jewellry tree is 9.99 from amazon and i have found it so useful since i bought it. i store as you can see my necklaces and bracelts and it looks etremely cute and vintage. i especially love the small birds on it which realy tie it together.

Second vintage home ware is an adoorable door stop.

This was 8 pounds from avon magazine. As you can see its a white knitted dog doorstop. i bought despite the fact my door doesn't really need one but i just loved how cute it was. one bit i especially love is the ribbon around its neck the design s so vintage and stunning.

finally is a beautiful glass jar.

This from next and is just 4 pounds thats value also it comes in different colours clear ( above) purple and light pink.this jar is the perfet size for storing mae up brushes or pens and pencils it really is very versatile. The bit that drew me to the jar was the bold butterfly design which is really detailed and delicate while still making a staement.

Well thats all for now. thanks for reading.

August Bloggin': day 3 : my top five summer songs

Hey guy Beth b here and today I'm going to tell you what I'm listening to this summer. So lets get started at #5.

Echo by Trevor Moran
This song is upbeat and a song that can only be described as one of the best dance songs I've ever heard.

At #4 is ghost by Ella Henderson

This song is really deep but manages to keep it happy and I don't know why but you have to play it over and over.

At #3 is stay with me by Sam smith

This song is very emotional to the point I saw one of my friends cry the first time she heard it but at the same time it is just so amazing I can't stop listening to it.

At #2 is happy little pill by Troye Sivan

This song is from his soon to be released  ep trxye is is brand new and was only released  a couple of weeks ago I love this song and have preordered the album. I suggest you do as well. I can't describe this song I suggest you go an listen to it yourself.

Finally at #1 is ordinary by ricky Dillon.
I listened to this song because I loved Ricky on YouTube I heard it and it was instantly my favourite song of all time. This song is all about him and what he loves and I think this is the sound of summer!

Thanks for reading I recommend you download all o the songs from iTunes because they will make your summer that bit better.
